Alright, we're halfway through this little journey. Now seems like a good time to talk about some coffee. I'm probably going to need a boost to get through the second half anyway.
Oh, coffee you go by many names: Joe, mud, java, jitter juice, brew, liquid energy, and much more. Jitter juice is probably my new favorite now though. One thing it seems is people either love it or they hate it. My dad loves it and my mom hates it. When I was a kid, like almost all kids, I hated the stuff. Now, I love it so much I'm not sure what I would do without it. I guess it's like the adult rite of passage when you start to enjoy it. It's great for the most obvious reason, the caffeine in the morning. Some people have to have it just to be pleasant. I don't necessarily need it to be pleasant, but it helps. I personally enjoy the flavor as well, which I know to some people it's strange. I am a coffee lover though, so if it's wrong I don't want to be right. In the last couple of years, I've discovered the awesomeness of the French Press. I've been through three now and I don't think I'll ever go back to drip ever again. It just tastes so much better and yeah it takes some time, but good things come to those who wait. I highly recommend giving it a shot. It's easy to do and worth the wait. Also, it's very important to get good fresh coffee beans. It's a little more, but if you find a local coffee shop who has fresh beans it definitely makes a difference. Even if you don't try the French Press at least, "Treat Yo Self" and get some good beans. You will be rewarded.
Alright, that's enough of my love of coffee. Here is a BuzzFeed article from a few years ago that has some pretty interesting facts. One of which says 100 cups of coffee will kill you. Don't know how anyone would be capable of such a thing, but I guess they figured it out somehow.
P.S. To all you people drinking that expensive "cat poop coffee", just stop. That's incredibly weird and I have no idea why someone would have tried it in the first place.
